Having been on this thread for a while now, I finally actually rode a motorbike for the first time today. It was a taster session ahead of my CBT on the 23rd. Didn't drop it, only stalled twice. And, best of all, I really enjoyed it.

I did come away having decided that everyone who said don't bother with a 125 is absolutely right. I think I'm just too big for a 125.

Cheers. Current plan is to go straight to Direct Access, possibly in May, get a full licence and get a Street Triple 765R. My motorbike guru Geoff says that's a good plan. Whether he's right or not remains to be seen.
