Any front rack recommendations for a V1 with canti mounts?

W Base are a fucking shambles of a shop, sorry your frames bent but get fucked.

I really wanted a rack that bolted onto the cantis but couldn't find much and thought about maybe getting one modified.

Am thinking of a Fluro Magura HS33 for this…any reasons why i shouldn't and I should stick to a v-brake ?

I need to get the dremel out to sand down the shoulders of the rear tyre a few mm’s.

Still need to get a mini v, headset base plate and shim for the seat post.

SG75 instead of DA7710, silver oversize cockpit, « logo » bar ends..

Not sure about the wheelset, could do a silver one also

Classy. Can you remove the logos on the bar?

Acetone / nail polish remover typically remove logo nicely

Logos doesn’t bother me that much..

Switched to silver wheelset

Bought a CK base plate for the Odyssey head set it has currently and looking at it now, even when compressed I can see there is still 1mm of movement. I bought a 1 1/8th no thread set base plate. Now wondering if the base plate is too small ?

Okay just seen my error..the baseplate is too wide for the bottom race.

Gahh, I need to remove the offending base, unless the baseplate on an inset and no threadset are the same ?

after 3 years of impatience today the holy v1 #430 grail landed at my home.

initially owned by @jv who had it from tokyo fixed, it then belonged to @swedeee who sold it to @hacha which was so kind to sell it to me now.

it will a slow build as i have different ideas on what to with it in my head regarding colors.
