Saw this cordoned off last night and since it was such a big area, I feared the worst. :-( Ugh.

Humbling how London moves on. I'm sure people passing by who know will be touched by your gesture.

Rest in peace. This never stops being so sad. I t could easily be any of us. Thoughts with her family.

I've only just seen this. As usual these days, no information on how exactly the crash happened, and the police press release write-up is padded out with essentially irrelevant various other crashes that have happened in the Clerkenwell area in recent years.
RIP rider, let's hope we'll hear more about what happened and that your loved ones get some measure of justice.

A follow-up article that names her as Cheistha Kochhar, with tributes paid to her, and still no information on how the crash happened:

Very sad..went past the site yesterday. RIP.

Another article with tributes to her and a few details of the crash:
Her husband, Prashant, a software engineer, was reportedly cycling a few yards ahead and rushed back to try to help. They had been married for just over a year.
Ms Kochhar had been riding a Forest e-bike at the time, the Standard has learned. It is the hire bike firm’s first London cycle fatality. Her family said the magnitude of the loss was “incomprehensible”.

Not a great junction for cycling that, but plenty of people on bikes around there. I wonder if it was an old bin lorry or a new direct vision one.

Is there still a white bike at the scene?
Can you still see a stencil on the ground? -

I went past on Thursday last week and there was, I'm sure someone can give more recent ID than that though
-
• #23
Yes it was there yesterday.
