£44m worth reported stolen in London last year! The thieves seem to operate mostly in the evenings at weekends, spotting watches of people going for a drink . There's been heaps of press coverage

You do seem to hear of people being robbed for their watches in a way that I don't recall say 10yrs ago.
Someone I used to work withs cousin was stabbed somewhere in the City for their Rolex. It sounded like it was planned, but still.
