You do seem to hear of people being robbed for their watches in a way that I don't recall say 10yrs ago.
Someone I used to work withs cousin was stabbed somewhere in the City for their Rolex. It sounded like it was planned, but still.
The again my fellow commutees into Canary Wharf seem to manage to make it in each day with their subs.
