Merlin will be buying from the Taiwan factory gate.
A years ago I had a copy of the dollar priced SRAM/Zipp spreadsheet from a UK bike brand and the prices were an eye opener.
Merlin still do a few of their own MTB/Gravel frames so I would imagine each container is mostly groupset parts and a few token frames.
