What exactly was the issues? Have had a kit for years in several bikes without any problems

Don’t own one myself but have a couple friends that ride ‘em through Winnipeg winters, no problems as yet.

It was normally that the controller in the battery pack would stop recognising the cadence sensor. We have never had any issues with the hubs at all.

I’ve had a problem with my dad’s one but they sent the replacement part for it quite quickly with not any fuss really.

what is the equivalent of a carla trailer that is 1/8th of the price?

I now have a bullit. does anyone have any bits going spare?

Side panels or maybe a base?

I'm not sure I could tow one of those on the back of my Load. I really don't understand how the carla can cost so much.

Or does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to tow two kids MTBs behind a load 75? (One with 24 inch, one with 20 inch wheels).

Buy a secondhand kids trailer and fix some plywood to the frame then fix down two of these:

I've looked in to this for work and there isn't one unfortunately. If you're just lugging 2 kids bikes the Carla is massively overbuilt anyway though!

It's got an extension to the bed, which is ridiculously heavy - almost the weight of the whole bed - so think I'm going to replace with a wood frame instead.

I enjoy it so much, am considering getting hold of a Bill too, but will see how well I get on with a Big Dummy + Ted capacity wise first ...and length/turning circle....
