• THREAD UPDATE: price drops all round on everything still available/unsold, cheaper items have £2 off, £5 off the rest although the more exotic stuff may well have £10 off, check below.
THREAD UPDATE: I've finally finished my vintage clearout and have added a bumper new selection of parts to those already listed below. See the extra parts in the third post of the thread (titled 'new parts update'). Extra freebies also included:)
UPDATE AGAIN: for those buying multiple items, get a few £££ off the cheapest one, will advise of the exact discount once I know the particular item being bought. No more discounts after this as will be adding more items soon and then listing unsold stuff up on Evilbay.

Since the New Year I’ve had a complete reassessment of my massive vintage MTB bikes/parts hoard after deciding that it’s got a bit out of control and most of it has to go😊 I’ve cleared a good bit already, but the majority of the collection is up for grabs here. Although I should mention that this is only the vintage kit I have (my favourite) and my modern stuff will be added also once I’ve gotten everything together. So look back over the next few weeks if more modern MBs are your thing (EDIT: thread now finally created, see here if interested: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/396670/). Loads of nice freebies can be found too. Prices not including postage. Collection is welcome . Dibs then PM please. To make things easier, I’ve kicked off the thread by mostly listing each part with only one or two pics alongside the parts info (due to it’s size) but have added further pics at the end of the thread (EDIT: thread now update with extra pics for all items).
Paypal gift is my preferred payment type, all prices don't include postage. Royal Mail's standard 2nd class rate is £3.69, so this is what you'll be paying unless you ask for a different service. Possibly cheaper if it fits inside a letter envelope, ask for price. If you can collect then it will be from NW London. Happy to send outside of the UK at cost, PayPal "friends" payment secures, cold hard cash only I'm afraid folks. I’ll be making a forum donation once the stuff starts to shift.
NB PLEASE CHECK AT THE END OF MY SECOND POST IN THE THREAD FOR ALL ITEMS SOLD OR FREEBIES TAKEN. ITEMS DIBSED/PENDING SALES SHOULD BE CHECKED BY LOOKING AT THE THREAD REPLIES BELOW, PLS DON'T PM ME BEFORE CHECKING THIS.

    Bontrager Race 4130 quill stem
A quality steel stem quite like a Salsa, it’s heat treated for strength. Nice condition except for the obvious paint chips especially on it’s left side. From the looks of it there’s chrome underneath the paint, so good quality. Length 9.5cm. Clamp size 25.4mm and fits 1 1/8" steerers. Threads and bolt heads are good.
    £25>>>>now £20

    Control Tech quill stem
OK condition with a good many chips on the painted part of the stem and the Control Tech stickers on the sides have gotten a bit scuffed. Also, the original quill bolt managed to get lost but the replacement one, wedge and spacers do their job well. Length 15.5cm. No upwards angle. Clamp size 25.4mm, and fits 1" steerers. Threads are good.
    £25>>>>now £20

  • Shimano LX part groupset
Well TBH nowhere near a groupset, although I do have a few other odd bits I can let anyone buying something have (for free) if it would help make up a gruppo, just ask. Also will be adding V-brake compatible brake levers and one or two extra front mechs, look out for a new parts update coming soon).

    Shimano LX BR-M-570 V-brakes
A full set of these V-brakes (currently only one pair of the brakes show in pics below, but will add the second pair soon). They’re in pretty excellent condition bar the fact that one of the black spring housings has a chip in it (can't be seen once fitted as it's on the underside close to the wheel). Brakes are compatible with the M750 separate brake levers soon to be added when I make a new parts update to the thread soon. They have their original mounting bolts (not the ones showing in the pics, since taking them the bolts have been found). Brake shoes are original for two of the brakes, the others are quality Avid ones. All pads fitted show minimal wear.
    £35>>>>now £30

    Selle Italia ProLink saddle
Classic saddle with carbon wrap rails and double gel/rubber damping in the base. The yellow leather cover isn’t faded or dirty but does show colour removal one the edges near the nose. The saddle hasn't had much usage and doesn't feel saggy when riding.
    £20>>>>now £18

    Selle Italia XO saddle
Classic saddle with alloy rails and gel centre (black patch) cushioning. The red leather cover isn’t faded or dirty but does show a nick to the righthand side edge. Bontrager Ti saddle
A classy saddle with ti rails and leather cover. The cover has been looked after over it’s lifetime and there’s no rips etc and there’s still a nice shine along it’s length, excepting the nose and rear corners that have dulled a bit. The saddle hasn't had much usage and the ti rails don't feel saggy when riding.
    £25

    Ascent Ti Bodyfit saddle
Excellent 90s saddle with manganese rails. Condition is pretty excellent for the leather cover except for a scuff near one of the Ascent logos and a small impression showing in the leather. It has gel padding. The ti saddle rails don't feel bendy to ride on. All stitching is good.
    £25>>>>now £20

    Specialized Body Geometry saddle
Another classy 90s saddle. Condition is pretty excellent for the leather cover except for a few scuffs and some of the logos having partly worn off. This feels like there’s gel padding the same as the Avocet. The manganese saddle rails don't feel bendy to ride on. All stitching is good.

    £7>>>>now £5

    Sachs Maillard (ARIS) freewheel
Sachs Maillard 8 Speed freewheel, vintage for screw on type rear hubs only. It’s NOS- I didn’t end up using it and it has just been in dry storage for many years, but without original packaging. Sprocket ratios: 12/24 teeth. Smooth bearings.
    £35>>>>now £30

    Sachs (ARIS) LY97 freewheel
Sachs Maillard 8 Speed freewheel, vintage for screw on type rear hubs only. One of the most hard wearing and crisply shifting freewheel designs ever made. I’ve used these for years and even when hampered by thick mud and caked on oil/dirt they still shift reliably as long as your chain is in pretty good nick. This one here has been pretty well cared for though. Tooth condition is excellent although a bit dirty. Sprocket ratios: 13/28 teeth. Smooth bearings.
£25 (no photos or price drop yet as freewheel can't be found...)

    Shimano XT RD-M739 rear mech
A slightly later variant of the earlier M73* series mechs (though don’t ask me what’s changed!) Very good condition except for scuffs on the front and the frame attaching bolt. Jockeys are starting to show some wear. Threads are all good with no seized bits and pivots have no play. Jockeys are original. For 8 speed setups.
    £20>>>>now £15

First one: pretty excellent condition, virtually no marks to be seen anywhere. Mechanically all's well, no play anywhere and all threads are good. Clamp size 34.9mm. Bottom pull. (the first five pics below are this mech).
Second one: nice condition besides some alloy corrosion on the clamping band. Mechanically all's well, no play anywhere and all threads are good. Clamp size 28.6mm. Top pull. (last seven pics of those below). Pics show the mech without a clamp bolt but I'll add one before it's sold.
£17 each First one SOLD Second one>>>>now £15

    Shimano XT BR-M739 V brakes
A full set of these classic first gen XT v brakes. They’re in very good condition with virtually no marks to be seen, although one of the XT logos has faded a good bit. And one of the black spring housings had gotten lost so has been swapped for a silver one (exactly the same design just different colour).Brakes are compatible with the M600 separate brake levers below if you don’t have an XT set handy. They have their original mounting bolts, these are a bit tarnished. Brake shoes are original for two of the brakes in the pics. In fact both front and rear brakes have their original shoes but I didn't fit both sets when taking the pics (will fit them before sending to the new owner). All pads fitted show minimal wear.
    £35>>>>now £30

    Shimano XTR M970 front mech
Very nice condition besides the fact that some of the chrome around the XTR logo is starting to lift. Mechanically all's well, no play anywhere and all threads are good, nothing’s seized. The chain cage is a nice gunmetal grey chromed colour and the clamping band is ano dark blue. Clamp size 34.9mm. Top or bottom pull. Weighs in at only 184g.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Shimano XT/XTR M747 pedals
Not much use on these. These should last and last- I had a pair of them in the 90's used on all my bikes and hammered them with constant use and racing and they stood it all :)
Bearings buttery smooth and spring tension tight. Everything adjusts fine. Threads good. I can include a set of new used Shimano cleats with these for £3.
    £25>>>>now £20

    Shimano XTR M959 pedals
A fair bit of use on these but they’re XTR so holding up well. BTW they don’t have the XTR model writing on them like later XTR kit, but they’re obviously this model due to the model number starting with 9. Bearings buttery smooth and spring tension tight. Everything adjusts fine. Threads good. The clip-in steel bits and axles show chrome loss. Allen key axle removal sockets are fine. l can include a used set of Shimano cleats with these for £3- contact me if interested.
    £25>>>>now £20

Time Alium HP ATAC pedals with cleats
A set of these pedals along with cleats. Bearings buttery smooth and spring tension tight. Everything adjusts fine. Threads good. No wearing down of the cleat holding bars. I can include a set of used cleats with these for £3.

    £15>>>>now £13

FOR STX PARTS (PART GROUPSET) SEE THE SECOND POST IN THE THREAD

Two finger levers. Pretty excellent condition with virtually no marks showing although the barrel adjusters are non original. All threads are good and pivots have no play.
    £15>>>>now £13

    Shimano DX PD-M650 pedals
Mid '90's flat pedals in a used but otherwise excellent condition, all allen bolts intact, cages in a very good used condition with all teeth in place. Bearings are silky smooth and both end caps in place. The cages on these were showing paint loss so they were stripped down and repainted with some heavy duty paint. Looks to be a good job and the Shimano logos still show through on the ends.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Shimano PD-M323 combi SPD/platform pedals
Not much use on these although the painted finish is starting to show wear. Bearings are still pretty smooth and spring tension tight. Everything adjusts fine. Threads good. This M323 model is an older version of the modern classic M324 which can be found everywhere. I can include a set of used Shimano cleats with these (for £3) if the buyer’s interested.
    £15>>>>now £13

Shimano DX RD-M650 long cage rear mech

    £17>>>>now £15

Shimano Deore DX FH-M650 rear hub with original skewer. A very nice condition used rear hub. 36 spoke holes. The axle spins sweetly with no play. The freehub body is for 7 speed cassettes (hub is compatible with an 8 speed body but longer axle would also be required).
    £25>>>>now £20

    Shimano Deore front hub
This is a used hub but in fine condition with bearings smooth and without play. 36 spoke holes.
    £7>>>>now £5

    Shimano LX FC-M560 chainset
A nice example of this chainset although cosmetically not in the best state due to heel rub which is more noticeable due to the black finish showing silver underneath. Besides this there's little wear from usage and the chainrings have many more miles in them. The two inner rings show virtually no wear and the outer one isn't far behind. Rings are 44/34/22t. Crank length is 175mm. Threads and tapers are good and all the bolts can be removed
    Price: £20>>>>now £15

Shimano LX RD-M565 long cage rear mech
Nice condition although there are obvious scuffs on either side of the parallelogram front. Jockeys show minimum wear. Threads are all good with no seized bits and pivots have no play. Jockeys are original. For 8 speed setups.
    £12>>>>now £10

    Shimano LX HB-M560 front hub
Good quality hub in nice condition. Bearings spin smoothly with no play. Nb this hub used to be part of a wheelset with matching rear hub, I’m selling this as a wheel, if interested see below. 32 spoke holes. Will include a matching skewer if required.

For 1” threaded steerers. With cartridge bearings that are buttery smooth. All looks in nice condition.
    £20

    Suntour XCD 6000 pedals
Late 80's Suntour flat pedals in very good condition, all allen bolts intact, cages in a very good used condition with all teeth in place. Bearings are silky smooth and both end caps in place. Pedals have an interesting weight saving design where only the rear top edge of each pedals sides has it’s cage made out of steel, presumably as this bit makes the most contact with a rider’s shoe so the steel will not wear from this. The other end of the top sides of the cage are alloy to save weight.
There is a fair bit of paint loss on one side of the pedals only (they were previously used with toe clips to explain this), the other is pretty clean.
    £20>>>>now £15

Suntour XC Pro Greasguard rear hub and (optional) cassette
Classic hub in NOS condition, although unboxed. It's in mint condition with no giveaway spoke hole markings to indicate spokes were once fitted, but all the same I've checked the bearings to make sure there's no signs of usage and they're untouched. This is the Microdrive version of the hub so the freehub is compatible with Suntour's own classy cassettes. OLN is 135mm. 32 spoke holes. Also comes with a NOS 6 speed cassette (I believe the freehub can take 7 speed ones). Ratios aren’t very wide though so won’t suit too many riders. Will add pics and details shortly if any interest. Also have a used Suntour skewer.
    £50>>>>now £40 (cassette £30)

    Suntour XC Comp front hub.
Like the above hub this is also in NOS condition and is also unboxed. It's in mint condition with no giveaway spoke hole markings to indicate spokes were once fitted, but all the same I've checked the bearings to make sure there's no signs of usage and they're untouched. 32 spoke holes.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Suntour XC 9000 front hub.
Excellent condition. Will add full details soon. 32 spoke holes.
    £15 >>>>now £13

    Suntour XCD front hub.
Like the above hubs this is also in NOS condition and is also unboxed. It's in nice condition although the fact that it's been stored without a box has left a few marks that show up more than they otherwise would due to the dark ano finish. I believe it's NOS as there's none of the usual giveaway spoke hole markings to indicate spokes were once fitted, but all the same I've checked the bearings to make sure there's no signs of usage and they're untouched. 36 spoke holes.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Shimano XTR FH-M900 front hub.
Classic hub. Very good cosmetically besides a scuff near the XTR logo. It spins sweetly, although I've serviced the bearings and one of the cones shows a fair bit of pitting whilst the other one is perfect. These can still be bought online if you felt it necessary to replace them. The freehub clicks loudly. It has 36 spoke holes. All threads are good. One of the end nuts isn’t original.
    £25>>>>now £20

Shimano XT FD-M700 Deer Head front mech
First gen XT front mech. Excellent condition with no marks showing. No play in pivots and all threads are good. Virtually no wear in the chain cage. 28.6mm band and bottom pull.
    £20

    Freebie innertubes
A selection of NOS 26'' tubes going gratis, seeing as I have so many tubes they seem to be coming out of my ears. Free to all, although out of fairness to the forum I'd ask that peeps take one tube per purchase of anything else.

    Freebie selection
Same freebie conditions as mentioned for the innertubes above. Selection includes two sets of 6 spd Shimano thumbies (one is a matching set, the other looks similar but one lever is metal the other plastic); two Jagwire canti hanger widgets, one purple one silver; one unbranded one; an Onza Chill Pill; two sets of ODI bar end bungs, one black one green; a Zero Zippy self extracting alloy/steel crank bolt; a red alloy rear mech hanger bolt (looks like the common Shimano design for these bolts of the 90s era, but I can check); Cassano BioSlim grips, look unused; Specialized Body Geometry grips, little used although some staining on the grey areas; unbranded yellow/black grips, very similar to the the Specialized ones but less staining; Bontrager grips, very little wear, if any; red unbranded grips, some noticeable wear on these but not too bad IMO; Wilko V-type brake pads.

    Shimano XT BR-M760 V brakes
A full set of these excellent parallel pull design brakes. I believe they were the third gen iteration of the XT model V brakes. By now they’ve completely redesigned the Parallel pull design and I feel the stopping power has that bit of extra bit now. They’re in pretty excellent condition with only one or two minor scuffs showing. Complete with original XT black alloy shoe/insert mounting plates. Pads are original and have plenty of meat on them. OEM Rubber bellows/boots/gators are also original, these are different to the M739 (above) and XTR boots. The cable anchoring arm is longer on this M750 design of caliper hence the redesigned shorter rubber boot. A pair of noddles/lead pipes are also included plus frame attaching bolts that aren’t original.
    £30

    Shimano XTR BB-UN91 bottom bracket
XTR model from the time of the XTR first gen/M900 kit. Apparently it’s a variant of the UN90 model and was rejigged slightly to be the best possible fit to work with the XTR and Dura Ace models at the time. Bearings are excellent, buttery smooth with no play. Tapers look to be JIS, all threads are good. Axle length is 107mm. Fits standard BSA/68mm BB shells. Weighs in at a tiny 337g.
    £40>>>>now £30

    Shimano BB-ES51 bottom bracket
Excellent condition, hardly used IMO. Bearings are excellent, buttery smooth with no play. Has an Octalink axle interface, all threads are good. Axle length is asymmetrical 121mm, so would fit triple setups. Fits standard BSA/68mm BB shells.
    £20>>>>now £15

    USE seatpost
The classic USE inline seatpost. This example is uncut. The purple colour is still strong and there’s no sun fading, although some has rubbed off from frame insertion, so is faded in this area. There’s a couple of scuffs too. Nothing is bent and all threads are good. Length is 414mm. Diameter is 25.0mm.
    £30>>>>now £25

    X-Lite flat bars
Complete with original shim for 25.4mm stem clamps. This is the first gen version of the bars with classy engraved logo, so asking for a higher price than I would be for newer USE kit. Bars have a three degree backsweep and measure 53.5cm in length (as per the engraved info, so not cut down). There’s no damage to them from clamping and the only scuffs I can see to the ano finish are to the reverse side of the bars immediately behind where the above measurement engraving is, as well as some wear to the finish from brake/gear lever clamps and some light scuffs over the X-Lite logo. The tough blue ano finish is lovely and unfaded.
    £45>>>>now £35

    Unbranded flat bars
Alloy bars in turquoise colour. 56cm in length and fits 25.4mm stem clamps. Bars have a three degree backsweep. There are some light scuffs from clamping brake levers and shifters. The centre bulge is worse though and here the ano finish has worn off in spots. Bars haven’t been cut down.
    £10>>>>now £8

    Ritchey ForceLite flat bars
Matt grey classic 90s bars. Bars have a five degree backsweep and measure 56cm in length (as per bar end stampings, so not cut down). Fits 25.4mm stem clamps. There are some light scuffs from stem clamping but no other marks anywhere and logos are unfaded. Bars weigh in at 170gms apparently, see logos. See matching ForceLite stem below.
£20 (will do a deal if buying with matching stem below)>>>>now £15

    Ritchey ForceLite stem
I believe these stems were made by Nitto so v good quality with precise steel welding and finishing. Stem is 130mm in length and fits 1” steerer tubes and 25.4mm bar clamps. Has a small upwards angle. The stem’s bare metal finish is unscratched and the Ritchey stickers are undamaged.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Girvin Flexstem quill stem
This is the alloy version of this classic stem, with an alloy shaft and suspension mount and steel extension to the bars. It has a red noodle/cable stop, removable if not wanted. The alloy bits and very clean although the steel extension’s paint has a few scuffs. Suspension rubber is in good nick with no cracks doesn’t seem to have hardened. Length is 12cm and stem fits 1” steerers. For 25.4mm bar clamps.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Shimano XT RD-M735 rear mech
Pretty excellent condition except for a small paint chip to the right of the XT logo. Jockeys are original and show little wear. Threads are all good with no seized bits and pivots have no play. For 7 speed setups.
    £30

    Shimano XT M735 front mech
This version of the M735 model is pretty rare as the standard versions didn’t have the ‘endless band’ setup that allows the owner to change the band to fit various frames (on top of the band looking pretty stylish IMO). Very good condition although the paintwork is looking a bit tired. Mechanically all's well, no play anywhere and all threads are good. Clamp size 28.6mm. Bottom pull.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Shimano XT SL-M735 thumbies
Stone cold classic thumbies, with the shifting action known and loved by their fans. In pretty excellent condition, virtually no scuffs showing. Great working condition, both ratchets click loudly. All threads are good. 7 speed.
    £35>>>>now £30

Mavic 221 front wheel with Hope Ti Glide hub
Classic wheel from the 90s. Well built and still true and perfectly round. The rim has minimal braking wear and there’s no marks etc. The hub spins fine and bearings are buttery smooth without play. The blue colour is unfaded and there’s no scuffs to be seen. There are 32 spokes. The tyre fitted is a slick Specialized Nimbus, if it’s not wanted let me know and I’ll remove it. The skewer included is not the original Hope one but is a good match with the hub’s colour.
    £30>>>>now £20

Mavic M231 rear wheel with LX FH-M563 hub
Another 90s wheel. Well built and still true and perfectly round. The rim has minimal braking wear and there’s no marks etc. The hub spins fine and bearings are buttery smooth without play. The black colour is unfaded and there’s no scuffs to be seen. For 7 speed cassettes (hub is compatible with 8 speed ones if you need this). There are 32 spokes. The tyre fitted is a slick Specialized Nimbus, if it’s not wanted let me know and I’ll remove it. The skewer included is original.

    £15

  • Shimano STX RC MC33 front mechs x2
I have included two of these to give peeps a choice between clamp sizes as one is 34.9 and the other 31.8mm (may have a bottom pull one somewhere, just ask). Both are in pretty excellent condition with virtually no scuffs showing. Mechanically all's well, no play anywhere and all threads are good. Both are top pull.
    £10 each>>>>now £8 each

    Shimano STX SL-MC34 brifters
In very good condition except for a few small scuffs. Great working condition, both ratchets click loudly. All threads and pivots are good. For 7 speed setups. BTW I have quite a few other bits of STX same series kit, just ask and I’ll try to find them.
    £30>>>>now £25

    Shimano STX SL-MC40 trigger shifters
In pretty excellent condition, virtually no scuffs showing. Great working condition, both ratchets click loudly. All threads are good. 7 speed.
    £17

    Shimano STX FC-MC40 front mech
Band on design for 31.8mm seat tubes (should be able to supply shims for 28.6mm ones, just ask). Pretty excellent condition, only some scuffing of the STX logo to be seen. Mechanically all's well, no play anywhere and all threads are good. Slight tarnishing in the chain cage. Adjustment bolts not seized. Bottom pull.
    £8>>>>now £5

    Shimano DX BL-MT60 brake levers
Four finger levers. Pretty excellent condition with virtually no marks showing. All threads are good and pivots have no play. One of them still has it’s adjust reach sticker on it, but the other hasn't.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Syntace seatpost quick release clamp
For camping 34.9mm seatposts. Has a few noticeable scuffs near the qr pivot but still pretty tidy looking.
    £7>>>>now £5

    Shimano XT SL-M092 brifters.
In pretty excellent condition except for one or two tiny marks. Great working condition, I’ve rebuilt the left shifter pod due to it being quite gunked up and it now works perfectly, both ratchets click loudly. All threads and pivots are good. For 7 speed setups.
    £50>>>>now £40

Ritchey Vantage Sport 26" wheelset, Shimano XT FH-M730/2 hubs
Vintage Ritchey Vantage Sport 26" wheelset. Ritchey rims laced to XT hubs. Neither hub has it's original skewer, both are ones that looks similar but rear is actually a Suntour one and front is a Shimano copy by Avenir.
For 7 speed cassettes (hub is also compatible with 8 speed freehub bodies), and fits Ultraglide or Hyperglide ones. Hubs spin well. Rims are true. Freewheel clicks loudly. One or two marks around the wheels, but pretty excellent otherwise. The rims show staining from the pads but virtually no actual wear (see closeup pics). I've serviced both the hubs and the front's bearings are perfect. The rear's left hand cone is perfect although the right is starting to show wear but is minimal and still spins sweetly. The rims have been destickered but I strongly believe they're Ritchey Vantage Sport due to the distinctive slightly v shaped profile and the fact that IMO it's unlikely xt hubs would have been built up into wheels where the rims aren't quality ones like the above.
    Approximate measurements:
135 mm - rear wheel spacing
100 mm - front wheel spacing
    36h - rim spoke count
    £60>>>>now £50

    Mr Control seatpost
Carbon seatpost. No scratches to the carbon, although there's slight zigzagging lower down and the branding is pretty worn. There's also scuffs on either side of the cradle 27.2mm diameter. 280mm length from bottom of the cradle to the underside of the post.
    £20>>>>now £15

Sachs Power Glide 11-28t cassette 8 speed
This is a rare Sachs cassette, as the majority of their transmission kit worked with freewheels, not cassettes. Used with Sachs' New Success groupset, and has a similarly solid shifting feel to that of the classic Sachs blocks, with the bonus of being lighter.
Very little used cassette, see close-up pics showing virtually no wear, with the only signs of it being dulling of the ano finish of the steel cogs. Fits Shimano freehub bodies. There are no performance issues when riding. Works fine with Shimano setups.
    £25>>>>now £20

    Ritchey Logic ahead headset
A classic headset. Bearing surfaces show minimal wear with no pitting etc. The headset has been fully serviced with new ball bearings included. Top cap isn't the original Richey one but still looks good. The headset shows a few scuffs here and there but is still presentable. For 1 1/8" steerers.
    £15>>>>now £13

    ODI grips
Used 80s grips but still look pretty new looking, there's a few scuffs but that's it. Theyre translucent/creamy coloured. Pretty rare ODI grips.
    £10>>>>now £8

    Specialized seatpost quick release clamp
For clamping 34.9mm seatposts. Pretty clean looking with no scrapes showing. Threads are good.
    £7>>>>now £5

    Easton grips
Used 90s slide on grips but still look pretty new looking, the ends look a bit frayed (think they're meant to be used with plugs) but that's it.
    £8

    Orange OX platform pedals
A nice pair of 90s Orange pedals. Bearings buttery smooth with no play. Threads are good. The paintwork looks a bit tired but could be polished up if you feel the need.
    £15>>>>now £13

Hope Ti Glide rear hub with non original skewer
Classic hub for screw on blocks. The skewer isn’t original but is a similar blue to the hub. Condition is near excellent with one or two tiny scuffs here and there. No cracks along the flanges as is a common issue with these Hope hubs with ti barrels. Cartridge bearings feel like new and are buttery smooth. 130mm bcd. The hub has the correct spacing for an 8 speed freewheel Nb this hub used to be part of a wheelset with matching front hub, I’m selling this as a wheel, if interested see Ritchey/Hope wheel above.
    £25>>>>now £20

Hope Ti Glide suspension front hub
Excellent sealed bearing hub with ti centre barrel. Aside from some cosmetic marks from use/lacing it is in excellent condition, no cracks, and bearings run super smooth. Also, the Hope logo/sticker has worn off and there's a scuff on the top of one of the flanges- see pic. 32 spoke holes.
    £25>>>>now £20

    Hope Mono front hub
Excellent sealed bearing hub which was a model around at the same time that the Ti Glide models were. Aside from some cosmetic marks from use/lacing it is in excellent condition, no cracks, although the cartridge bearings feel a tad gritty and would benefit from a service/replacing the cartridges. 32 spoke holes. Weighs in at a tiny 75g.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Club Roost I-Beam ahead stem
Beam/girder design for extra rigidity (needed for stems that are lengthier). Length is 130mm and bar clamp is 25.4mm. For 1 1/8” steerers. Stem has a classy looking matt grey finish. Condition is pretty excellent with only a slight scuff to the finish on the stem’s top side and a mark on one side.
    £15>>>>now £13

    Tektro brake levers
A good condition set of these levers that look to be from the 90s. Paintwork is pretty tidy with just a few scuffs on each. Pivots have no play and all threads are good.
    £7>>>>now £5

    RockShox Indy XC forks
Classic 90s forks. Long travel design. Suspension is still very plush with no stiffness. Legs are straight with no damage. Steerer tube is threaded and 1”. All threads are good. The paintwork is a bit tired but still presentable IMO. The steerer tube measured 140mm in length.
    £30>>>>now £20

    Shimano SL-CT51 thumbies
A 6x3 thumbshifter set. This set is an indexed one where the l/h one is indexed which is a bit unusual when many of these shifters are limited to friction only for the l/h side. The set also has gear number indicators, see the arrow in the centre of the dial. This novelty and the flashy 80s style rugged looking casework makes for quite attractive shifters IMO😊 The shifters are also pretty rare (I’ve only ever seen one other set) and also seem sought after so I have to price them quite highly. Condition is pretty excellent with only light scuffing showing and the shifting action being nice and crisp.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Shimano SL-TY15A thumbies
A 5x3 thumbshifter set. This set is an indexed one where the l/h one is retrofriction which is a bit unusual when many of these shifters are limited to standard friction only for the l/h side. Condition is pretty excellent with only light scuffing showing and the shifting action being nice and crisp.
    £6>>>>now £4

THREAD UPDATE FOR NEW PARTS ADDED
Not everything listed includes full details and pics- to be added shortly.

    Tektro brake booster
Think this is a 90s brake booster. In turquoise and in pretty excellent condition although the Tektro branding is a bit faded.
    £5>>>>now £3

Shimano XT SQ-M730 seatpost quick release clamp
A quite rare and definitely fun little accessory to pimp your ride. This has the black plastic cover to match the skewers on XT hubs like the one below normally comes with. So it's from the late 80s. And it's actually a nice bit of kit with alloy end nut and QR pivot without the normal attachment nut so it's a bit lighter. The chrome shows a bit of wear though and the rubber o ring on the nut is looking tired but still solid. All threads are good and there's no play in the pivot.
    £15>>>>now £13

    Shimano XT FH-M732 front hub
Classic 80's hub made a few years earlier than the below XT one. The alloy shell has one noticeable scuff but overall it's very clean looking. The XT logo has faded a good bit but is still visible. Bearings spin smoothly with no play, I've serviced them and they're pretty new looking. 32 spoke holes.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Shimano XT FH-M737 rear hub
Classic 90s hub in very good condition. Cosmetically it's very clean looking with no obvious scuffs, the XT/Parallax sticker had partly gotten unstuck so I've glued it back down. Bearings spin smoothly with no play, I've serviced them and cones and races look virtually unused on one side and a light circle mark on the other but no obvious wear or pitting. It's a 32 spoke hole hub and OLN is 135mm. The 8 speed freehub body clicks loudly.
    £20>>>>now £15

Shimano STX BR-MC32 canti brakeset. Fairly beater condition as the black finish shows wear and tear. All working fine. All threads are good and pivot action has no play. Pads are original and have loads of life left. I've included pics showing two different hanger sets as wasn't sure which one belonged to the brakeset. One has hangers with plastic covers and will come with cables which link it to the brakes. Obvs you can choose the set you prefer. These cantis are compatible with the above STX brifters as they have the correct pull ratio for cantis.
    £20>>>>now £15

    Shimano STX RD-MC34 rear mech
Very nice condition except for the occasional light scuff here and there Jockeys are original and show little wear. Threads are all good with no seized bits and pivots have no play. For 7 speed setups.
    £12>>>>now £10

Suntour XC Head Binder cable stop with headset top nut. Pretty rare and a nice piece of kit. All alloy except for the compact sized top nut which is steel. This cable stop setup is designed to replace your headset's existing topnut with the cable stop taking it's place. There is a gap underneath the stop with exactly fits the compact topnut, then the cable stop goes on top and is clamped in place onto the threads of your fork's steerer. Pretty excellent condition with no marks showing. Threads are good.
    £20>>>>now £15

Suntour XC headset, the same era as above cable stop so would work well together. All alloy construction bar steel cones and races set into alloy cups. Excellent condition with no scuffs to the alloy. And no wear showing on any of it's cones or races, they're pretty much immaculate. All threads are good. Not sure what the crown race diameter is but I can measure it if required.
    £25>>>>now £20

    Lime green ODI grips
This is another pair of these ODI grips I'm selling. Unlike the above clear ones these have had some usage although they cleaned up well and the light colouring they have still looks bright. The obvious damage they have is that the rounded ends have been scraped/cut off. Obviously they can be used with end bungs so the rough edges wouldn't be visible. But it also means that they no longer have their ODI logos.
    £3>>>>now £1

    Time Alium pedals with cleats
Time Alium ATAC pedals with used cleats
This is the second set of these pedals I'm selling, these have a fair bit more usage than the above ones. Bearings are still buttery smooth and spring tension tight, but wear is slightly visible along the tops of the cleat holding bars. Threads good. Everything adjusts fine.
£20 with cleats or will sell separately for £15 (will also sell cleats separately, they've minimal wear)>>>>now £15 or £10 without cleats

    Shimano Exage Country FC-M520 chainset
A nice example of this chainset. There's a few minor scuffs from normal usage, as well as scratch marks near one of the pedal holes from efforts made to remove a stiff pedal. Besides this there's little wear from usage and the chainrings have many more miles in them. The two inner rings show virtually no wear and the outer one isn't far behind. Rings are 48/38/28t. Crank length is 170mm. Threads and tapers are good and all the bolts can be removed
    Price: £20>>>>now £15

Selle Italia Flite saddle with ti rails. 80s and excellent condition bar a small rip on one edge. This looks like the plain black Flite saddle but is a slightly more modern version with oval plastic logo on the rear and reflective oval logos on each side. The Flite logos have worn off the nose. The saddle looks to have had an easy life and still gives a firm ride when ridden.
    £20>>>>now £15

Rodi Vuelta Airline 1 wheelset with Shimano hubs
For 8 speed cassettes, and fits Ultraglide or Hyperglide ones. Hubs spin well. Rims are true. Freewheel clicks loudly. One or two marks around the wheels, but pretty excellent otherwise. The rims show minimal brake pad wear. Hubs spin sweetly and overall the wheels look to have had very little usage. I can throw in some freebie basic tyres and tubes if required.
    Approximate measurements:
135 mm - rear wheel spacing
100 mm - front wheel spacing
    36h - rim spoke count
    £15>>>>now £13

Shimano LX ST-M060 7 speed brifters
In very nice condition although the black ano finish has a little sun fading. The brifters come with original rubber hoods, one can be seen in the pics but the other has disappeared recently, I should be able to find it and will include. Great working condition, both of the shifter ratchets click loudly. All threads and pivots are good. For 7 speed setups.
    £20>>>>now £15

Shimano LX ST-M563 brake levers. These used to be brifters but the shifting pods were damaged and with being pods not fully incorporated with the body of the brifters could be cut off leaving them looking pretty much like normal brake levers. They're 90s levers suitable for canti brakes only. Condition is very good with hardly any scuffs to speak of and the high gloss paint job still looks very shiny. Mechanically they're fine, with no play in the pivots, threads are good and everything adjusts ok with no seized bits.
    £10

Selection of freebie bits including; Specialized 1 1/4" top cap; Wake top cap; Marin headset spacer; purple and blue sets of water cage bolts; blue jockey wheel bolt; alloy canti cable hanger similar to ones in above freebie section on the thread; Christophe MTB plastic toe clip sets x2 and various nylon straps some new; various new canti and v brake pads mostly unbranded but all without packaging, Shimano SL-MT36 thumbies (as seen in above freebies section but the one with plastic lever has been replaced and they're now a matching set) friction only, a second thumbies friction set, also previously photographed but now a set; x3 mismatched black MTB bungs, all branded and one is ODI as in existing pics; Freeway Basics (made by Wellgo) plastic/metal cage pedals; Wilko V-type brake pads, Ashima pads, Quad pads- all in original packaging.

Fibrax red cartridge brake pad set. Unused but no packaging. £3; Plastiche Bioslim rubber grips, NOS but without packaging, rubber still nice and supple. £3.>>>>now £1 each

Fibrax/Koolstop brake shoes for canti brakes. £3; Fibrax V-brake pads, cartridge fitting. £3; VP used cleats only compatible with VP pedals they're designed for ie not Shimano's SPD cleat-fitting pedals. Little used condition. Can supply some bolts. £3; Time used cleats plus bolts, little used condition. £3; Barracuda ('Cuda) seatpost clamp, will clamp 27.2mm diameter seatposts. £5; Specialized and GT toeclips (top left, top right in pic), little used condition, virtually no scuffs. £4 a pair.>>>>now everything £3>>>> £1, everything £5>>>> £3, £4 down to £2

Justek saddle. 90s MTB saddle. In nice condition with no scuffs or tears and the stitching is all there and not stained. There used to be logos near the nose on each side but someone has accetoned them off, quite a clean job.
    £8>>>>now £6

    Shimano Altus BL-C20 brake levers
80s levers suitable for canti brakes only. Condition is very good with no scuffs to speak of. Mechanically they're fine, with no play in the pivots, threads are good and everything adjusts ok with no seized bits.
    £8>>>>now £6

Avid Speed Dial 2 SD-2.0L brake levers in orange. 90s levers suitable for V brakes. Also have some Avid v brakesets (one in silver, another in black) somewhere, no pics ready. Condition obviously quite tatty but mechanically they're fine, with no play in the pivots, threads are good and everything adjusts ok with no seized bits.
    £10>>>>now £8

    Radius brake levers
Pretty sure these are designed for v-brake compatibility. They're pretty new looking, can't see any scuffs on them. Mechanically they're fine, with no play in the pivots, threads are good and everything adjusts ok with no seized bits.
    £8>>>>now £6

    Onza bar ends in black
These are pretty tidy looking bar the obvious scratches along the outward facing sides from standing the bike against walls etc. They still look presentable though IMO. All threads are good and the bar ends still have their Onza plugs
    £5>>>>now £3

And there's more to come, too... Hopefully all the info given will reduce the amount of questions I have to answer and provisional dibs that confuses others when considering entering their own dibs.
