Yes, Farer are made to a higher level of quality than Baltic (and in Switzerland, by Roventa), though Baltic are good VFM (mostly made in Hong Kong with final assembly in France). Also it's less that titanium is more expensive than steel, more that it's harder to work with in terms of machining/finishing. The Sellita movement is certainly more expensive than the Miyota too, at least three times more.
