The thought of buying a 996 has entered my head, and has not met with significant opposition. This window of opportunity will not last for too long methinks, is it as stupid as it sounds??? Can anyone share any experience/horror stories? I've already done some research so know some of the basics like IMS bearing/bore scoring etc. I think I would be looking at a Carrera 2 or maybe Targa with a manual box.
