Good luck. These are tough to paint well.

Very, very good.

Has to b one of the best bodies.

Injection moulded ABS gives such a crisp finish over blown polycarbonate.

These are tough! Looking forward to seeing it done.😎

The beauty of a hard body, is that you can rub down/paint over and fix. Stick at it!

It's all good.
I was a lot more careful with my lexan body.
These shells feel much more robust than the original Tamiya bodies. I'm guessing that they're ABS rather than polystyrene.

I've been chasing Rochester RC for a refund, for the past two weeks. I bought an ESC, motor and servo from them, for my Range Rover.

The ESC lasted about 2mins of testing before all the magic smoke escaped. Haven't seen anything like that since owning a 1973 MG.

Hobbywing 1060 - generally all I use for brushed setups, really surprised this happened and really disappointed that I can't get through to RRC to sort out a refund or replacement.

EDIT for fairness: Rochester RC called me just now, and I’m getting a warranty replacement.

What is your setup?

Anything over 2S u need to have heavy duty kit.

TBLE02S will run 3s with a silvercan apparently (I'm going to try it on a XV01).

Nimh (7.2V) - dodgy unit.

Have Tamiya changed to Dean's or equiv yet?

Can't possibly still expect u to use OG pin connectors.

No, you have to swap and re-solder the connectors.

Yeh anything Tamiya comes with the Molex [style] plug.

It's fine for basic setups, but if pulling a little more current (say a high kV brushless setup), I go with a Deans plug. Xt-60 for a 12s basher, if that's your thing...

Slapped on some PS2 and a cheeky layer of bright silver to dull it a bit.
