Odd that all these anti-ULEZ protesters fail to realise they are already paying per mile to the Oil companies that supply petrol or diesel.

and substantially to the UK govt with 53ppl duty plus 20% VAT.

If the govt just unfroze the fuel duty escalator for a year or two, the pay per mile stuff would become even more irrelevant.

I thought the current Tory continuum had already frozen the Fuel Duty Escalator for several/many years?
