It's been an interesting week, after few days of sunshine the winter decided to come back. I took a bit of a fall with the Kona Dew and reshaped the front rack.
With the Kona out, I commuted rest of the week with my cargo bike, which luckily enabled picking up a new bike in the middle of a blizzard on Friday.
The new arrival is a Fausto Coppi Aluminium K3 made of Columbus FOR3, as described my mr. Pelizzoli "old kind of tubes from COLUMBUS called FOR3 with triangle shaped used form the TEAM COPPI pro during the 90s, triangle tubes come out the Colubus - Professional - Giovanni collaboration, to find the most stiffness during the ride on aluminum frames." Apparently rest of the tubesets ended up with Pelizzoli for Leggenda FOR3 frames. Sadly on this frame the seat tube has cracked and been welded, let's see how it holds up.
Bike is built up with Ultegra groupset + Dura-Ace chainset, wheels have Ultegra hubs laced to Mavic CXP30 rims. I like commuting on cheap road bikes and messaged the seller pretty quickly after seeing the add. The bike was quite dusty but after a quick clean it turned out pretty nice. With a longer seatpost, stem and some SPD's should be a good commuter.
