Just want to avoid double fisting screens ya know? Which is the appeal of the whoop. Just looks like an ugly bracelet, rather than an ugly bracelet with a screen on it. Total first world problems. I don't need anything at all and could just keep using the watch but charging a watch every day is so laborious.

You can set the inspire so the screen is blank unless you touch the side buttons, so it's no more invasive than a whoop imo.
It's really not that accurate so I'm not sure why I'm arguing for it, but for £30 second hand, it's probably worth a go. I like mine, even just for the sleep tracking and resting heart rate. Major downsides are during exercise the heart rate cuts out once my arm gets sweaty and you can't track runs etc when it's not paired to you phone, so you can't use it if you leave your phone at home. It's not ideal, but it is cheap, and does enough

Exactly the same here. Whoop charging was ok, it's also ok to wear and fairly discrete. But paying for a thing to tell me when to go to bed, nah.
So I'll wait for implants I guess. -

The C65 Dune auto and C65 Dune GMT seem to fit that bill - despite the faux-aged lume I think they look like the nicest watch CW make at the moment, and the bracelet is supposed to be excellent. Or are they too shiny?
-
• #77057
I agree, they are nice. Would prefer them to be 36mm and a bit less shiny ideally.

Those Doxa are probably very similar dimensions to this which is very wearable for a dive watch

Tried on a BB54 today, really wanted to love it but think the 58 still blows it out the water. I should’ve bought the blue 58 over the black.
Also tried on the Storm? Fifty fathoms swatch x Blancpain, as shown by ejay a few pages ago. Great lil piece of fun, shame once movement dies it’s all over.

I've looked - ideally want to keep wearing the watches I like but they're on paper what I want. Annoyingly none of the 36mm ones have proper lugs though, otherwise I think I'd be tempted. I know it seems arbitrary..

I loved my BB58 but always felt it wasn’t the one no matter how hard I tried, with some many watches from them that are all too similar now

After a new watch, thinking of a Chrono and Flyback too.
Would like something like my SeaQ which is a different take/brand on the theme and underrated too.
Been looking at Zenith and Blancpain Leman but wondering what else is out there

Goldsmiths/WOS had some big discounts on El Primeros recently. I've always liked the Bucherer Manero flyback aswell

I tried wearing a Fitbit on my non watch wrist, it was ok, but an Oura ring is better- it does everything you want from a fitness tracker but (as long as you are happy to wear a ring) doesn’t clash with a watch. I found it easier to sleep with also.
-

Always thought about trying one of their rings, but the problem for me is the steps wouldn’t count on my Vitality plan!

Having worn a garmin 24/7 for nearly 4 years, and briefly alongside a whoop, I have concluded that sleep tracking is inaccurate and sometimes detrimental. I found that some days I woke up feeling great but garmin/whoop told me I slept awfully for whatever reason, and then I didn’t know how I felt. With a toddler and newborn I wasn’t really in a position to change my sleep habits either, so now the garmin only goes on for runs. As mentioned up thread, your phone will make a reasonably good estimate of your steps too if you have it in your pocket.

Got my Grandad’s old watch from my mum today. It’s a Fortissimo Audax, not much clue about them but it’s a great little design. Tiny case with a lot of the plating coming away but the dial and hands are right up my alley.

Fitbit inspire? It's not the most accurate during exercise but seems to get the overall metrics right ime
