You're right, I guess it's always nice to stick around and see what a good team looks like.

When Chambers is playing in midfield you know the bottom of the barrel is being scraped. Decent first half until Zaniolo's wall failure. Gulf in depth available showed in the second half.

I don’t understood leaving early, never have and certainly wasn’t going to on only my second Premier League match whatever the score.

... only my second Premier League match
You'll probably consider leaving earlier once you've been to a lot more turgid games, or games when you're 4 down, etc and know that staying an extra 5 minutes to the end will mean you get home an hour later due to queues/trains/traffic/etc.
(Luckily the only popular games I get to go and see I can walk to, so I get to stay and watch the turgid football right to the final whistle.)

What's the feeling of Everton fans. From the outside it looks like you're playing ok but keep being unlucky but obviously you can only be unlucky so many times before wondering whether something else is to blame.

Some fans starting to get a bit tired of Dycheball. Bit of ‘Dyche out’ sentiment, but it’s hard to see how anyone else would make notably better use of our players.
We didn’t manage well after a few injuries, chiefly Doucoure and Gueye, but since most players are now fit and have been for some time we haven’t managed to arrest the slump. We’ve not been terrible in the most, but we’re so goal-shy it’s a bit of a worry. You can call it unlucky (and it is to a degree) but better players would make better luck. Wouldn’t surprise me if we didn’t get a win against you but it does feel like if we could just get a spawny goal or two and nick three points somewhere we’d kick on a bit. Confidence is shot at the moment.

I’m absolutely all about turgid but last night wasn’t that at all - could have easily been a couple more goals in the 5+4 minutes remaining - and still there was a sizeable exodus (and not the away fans, they are kept caged in until the ground has emptied).
Maybe success gets boring after a while.

Easy three points at the Bridge. 🤣

Cole Palmer. Superb. That pass from the fidget spinner Anthony was lovely.

So a matter of minutes?
(Too easy)

Ten Hag creating anti-Fergie Time.
There was a stat floating about yesterday that they have had the most shots against of any team in the top 5 leagues in Europe. -
• #168215
100 in 3 matches I think.
“It doesn’t matter if they have shots” -

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
That KDB guy has a future. So like pep to just only play these unreal prospects a few games a year.

nah, he'll never make it, jose mourihno doesn't rate him

Oof. That’s so shit.
Edit: to lose by only that goal is even worse. Feel for you.
-
• #168220
We didn't deserve much more. Everton were poor, we were worse.
-
• #168221
That’s exactly the kind of thing I was talking about! Hard luck, looks like we were just slightly less bad than you.
-
• #168222
Seven red cards so far this season. A far cry from the 100+ games we went under Dyche without a red.
-
• #168223
Poor Harry Kane, lost to the mighty Heidenheim today. Now only 16 points behind Leverkusen with 6 games to play.

Fucking wrong thread.

Villa will be the death of me. They don't deserve CL football, they're not a serious team. I'd honestly rather them be sat in 7th/8th concentrating on winning the ECL, than heartbreak hotel shit every week.
