Does anyone have knowledge of the framebuilder Dan Shotton? The internet tells me that he was based in Bristol perhaps 80s/90s, built some well thought of frames, and then suddenly gave it up to become a farmer. That's about it.
I bought this frame to build up as a geared bike for a gentle bit of touring, as the only bike in my shed right now is an Aende single speed very much set up as a town bike. If there are any other examples of Shotton's work on the road it would be nice to see them.
This frame is 531 pro, a bit bendy perhaps but that's what I like. Nice detailing, cut out lugs, shot in stays professionally done.
