Oh man, have been after one of these for a while...which colourway?

Am I right in thinking it will take up to 40mm-ish?

Yes it will take 40c, barring the stickiest/abrasive mud, i believe in a safe way.
It is the black/ purple / splatter colourway, beautiful imo.

I should add that it is an AI frame so ripe for a custom wheelbuild
