I can't get my MK5 TDI to go above 60, which makes going up hill fun. Had a bus try to overtake and hilariously get stuck going the same speed. I never really notice it as I rarely head out of town with it but knew there was a problem when I pulled onto the dual carriage way and was making no progress.
Cars booked in for a service next week and have asked them to investigate. I'm close to scrapping it as the back doors now don't lock.
Any ideas on what it could be? I should probably buy a scanner.

Most likely, now thinking about it the revs wont go beyond 3k.
Maybe I'll get them to diagnose before doing the service...!

Tyre shop won't repair in that area of the tyre.
Have used slime in the past, removed the screw and rolled the tyre so the hole was on the bottom. Stuck the slime in and waited 30 minutes then filled the tyre with air. Then drive for a few minutes then see if it holds air.
Did it as there was no spare in the car and no where near that could do tyres.

A rare species these days. The classic Ford V Holden bogan is slowly disappearing.

They're all in QLD, just drove up to Morayfield to pick something up and they're all up there. Flapless V8 Commodores and Falcons for days. And lifted & tuned 4WDs with massive tyres, obvs.

Worse! Trapped under the accelerator!!
I was parked at Coles, accidentally floored it over the reservation that separates the car park. I actually took off. Fortunately no cars parked opposite, would've been the hugest fail ever. Regained control before I went through the fence into someone's garden. 🤦🏼♂️

I put flip flops in the door pocket before closing the door- with certain hire cars you can neatly drop them off your feet with your legs extended, as you get into the car if that makes sense.
probably woulda bought that superb as I’m in the market for a good auto. if only I was in london, but I’m 400 miles away and probably two weeks out from earliest viable purchase. need to figure out what I’m going to buy : /
