Didn't think you could do that under PD, but it's a neat idea, presuming the single run of guttering on the original pitched roof can take all the water off it.

I feel PD is a bit of a joke. Our builders didn’t not follow our plans, every single loft I have seen round here has a raised roofline and the one to my right, built by a single guy who spoke no English doesn’t look to conform to much reg wise, yet the council doesn’t do anything?

The guttering at the front has been upgraded to a #thicc, turgid baton.
There are also loads of terraces where 2x, sometimes 3x, houses all share the same single down-pipe without issue... at least, that's what I told myself to justify this. I have no idea what I'm doing.
