Sorry about the horrific 'builder'.It should have a small fall on it so it runs out. There shouldn't be metal coping, but I guess that's there as they cut the tiles to put it in.
Beyond lifting the bottom tiles and adding a fall and re tiling, you're left with just pull all that horrid mastik off and putting some.new nicer stuff on. Anything is a bodge unless you take it out and re tile the wall.
I opted for one of those shower cut outs for shampoo etc. The builder (completely shit) actually forgot to do it then added it afterwards. It's not a huge shower cubicle (1000x800), so is quite close to the main body of water. It gets super scummy over time and gets wet every shower, not really draining out as it's flat. Is this par for the course or is there anything that I can do? Hoping someone's been through similar - cheers
