No surprise, the extra top and head tube length are much better. Being a newer frame it's designed for wider (700c) rubber, so will keep my eyes peeled for a suitable wheelset to swap back from 650b. I'd always wanted to remove the guards and ride more rough stuff, which never really happened, so determined to do this over the spring and summer. After a blast on the local bridleways it's clear more aggressive tread is needed. Pretty happy, great to finally have a frame that's a better fit.
Sorry to be that guy, but what bars are these? They look similar to Neoclassics, but I haven't been able to get as satisfying a bar-lever fit as you have here. I have R3000 levers which look similar in profile to your 105s. And just to add, excellently proportioned bike.
