  • half the people on our road have 2 car drives but own 3+ cars and rather than park the spares across the front of their driveways on the road they use them to nick all the spaces from my neighbours who don't have a drive and can only park outside their own house because they'd otherwise be blocking someone else's drive. if there's no room to nick their spots they'll just park next to them overhanging our driveway instead, because it's much better to inconvenience someone else passively living their life rather than maybe have to move one of your fleet 8 feet out the way to get a car off the drive sometimes and only inconvenience yourself.

This is the game we're currently playing on our street. Feral neighbours have four cars and a huge trailer, their drive is large enough to accommodate three cars but they only park two on theirs, another one lives across my drive blocking me in and the other is permanently left over the road in front of the family who own three cars and only have two spaces. They have to drive their third car in at an angle so it sits on the grass between their house and the feral's fourth car.

The problem is cars, obvs, fuck them all. And feral neighbours.

Does your local council have a report line? If any part of the car is next to the dropped kerb (not the slope but the actual flat bit) then this is an easy PCN.
