I need a bearing puller for occasional work on bike sized bearings, and I adamantly refuse to pay £350 for the park tool set (it’s just a slide hammer, for Pete’s sake!).
Does anyone know what dimensions these might be? https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/amtech-3pc-bearing-puller-set-553991180
And does someone have any experience with the £25 slide hammer bearing pullers off eBay and the like? Or another affordable option you’d recommend?

I'm guessing the 3? 4? and 6? on the product details should read 3, 4 and 6 inches? Right hand leg of largest puller has 150 on the casting - presumably 150mm, a metric 6".
My similarly cheap puller needed quite a bit of filing to make it pull straight...

Thanks! I think microsuction is probably what I need to be honest. Have had to have it done a few times in the past. So gross but so satisfying.

@doubleodavey as well:
What sizes are your doors? I'm looking to replace a few of our dodgy internal doors... this would be perfect.

30" x 77". I've got some photos which I can send you. Watch your pms...

Could you use command strips? They work very well in my experience

Can you take the SIM card out, put it in another phone and see if someone calls it?

Probably just easiest to drop it off at the nearest Apple store

The left-hand one is brake drum size, as @MrE has said. I’ve also got a very similar one and it’s no good at pulling bearings off because it tends to rip the outer race off the bearing. You need one of the ones which has the half-circles you tighten behind the bearing. There’s a £20 one at Screwfix which is the right shape but I can’t quite gauge the size and it gets mixed reviews. Might be worth a try. If it’s shit you can just take it back.

About once a year or so I need to have my left ear flushed because of wax buildup. Micro suction does the same job?

Microsuction does a way better job IMHO.
I've had ear problems for years on end, it's to do with the angle the skin cells inside the ear migrate and shed.
Someone good with microsuction is worth their weight in gold.

Don't have a spare phone handy. Could've been out there a while so probably a dead SIM.

Would they try to reunite it with owner? I'm probably just going to stick it in recyc.

I just googled it and apparently they don't accept them anymore, they'll just tell you to take it to the police. The other tip I found when googling is that you can ask Siri "who owns this phone". Might be helpful if the screen is broken

Whilst I'm here, my hearing is shagged recently. Are the free tests from Boots/Specsavers any good or should I just throw myself at the mercy of my rubbish GP practice?
No point going to a GP for a general hearing problem. Ears have been outsourced from GP surgeries to Boots/Specsavers/etc anyway.

Specsavers sent my report to my GP who prescribed hearing aids but also sent me for a MRI scan

Well, yes, anything serious and you'll be referred back to your GP (and onwards to hospital if necessary). But for hearing related things the first port of call is generally an opticians.

Just tried that and it just gave me my first name.

Any Planet X xla owners out there?
What’s the minimum rotor size? -

Thanks, I'll just go straight to Boots or somewhere then! It's been about a decade since I last had issues which were sorted out at the GP so things must have changed.

Hm, thanks. I wonder if my doc has heard of it… canadalyfe.
AFAIK a pure tone audiogram from Specsavers will be the same as the one at outpatients ENT as the sounds are the same.
Would be reasonable to pay them to microsuction your ears first which I think is about 27 quid an ear
Prepare for Specsavers to flog you something.....
