Do you know what caused the flat? Can you see what caused the flat such as screw?

Which corvette engine is fitted?
Are they like the initial monaros... Needing brake and suspension upgrades to be decent? Saying that I miss the terror mobile.

6.2l LS2 V8, I believe.

Wife is questioning my life choices
I'd listen to the wife... Unless you can win her over with burnouts and donuts?

She sounds like a keeper.

If I get a new job (well, if I get the new job I want) then I’m going to buy a 2013 C63 estate.

How much do you really need your wife? I’m just saying.

should I avoid Kia, Hyundai any other brand due to difficulty of getting spares/repairs?
am off to buy the Jazz replacement today and am considering cheating on Honda

I'm currently trying to resist the urge to buy a Bentley Continental GT. Which I really, really don't need.

I'd really like Distronic Cruise on the C63, and non of them seem to have it. I acknowledge that this is a bit of a niche requirement.

not quite in the C63 bracket, but anyone have knowledge of the Merc C220 cdi estate? Looking for a long range reliable cruiser, no need to thrash it. c10 years old with c80k miles and FSH can be had for sensible money. They look smart. Have done some reading but don't really know. Small family sized trips 3x pa to the continent mainly on good A roads, supermarket runs in UK, plan to keep it till they ban them.

What were the other options?

Quite fancied a i20 but nothing nearby fitted the bill. Considered a brown dacia sandero but couldn't bring myself to do it. Otherwise, looked at Clio, Corsa, Yaris

I don't know about that age but my mum had a 2003 220 CDI estate and we kept it for 12 years until she bought an A4 estate brand new in 2015. By comparison, the 2003 Merc felt bigger inside, more comfortable, and better constructed.
That's not helpful at all I'm sure.

It's an LS2 so it's a 6.0, the early Monaros were under braked for sure, but this has big ol' 4 pots and big discs front and back so I'm not worried about brakes on this car.

It was a little tongue in cheek, it's a cliché ain't it, primed for golf club thread.
She supports my stupidity as long as she can still listen to podcasts on long journeys

Apart from general Merc poor quality wiring and bits (subframe) going rusty.

A mate is selling a BMW 330i auto E90 saloon with the coveted N52 engine. I have fuck all details but it's been looked after and he wants 2k or maybe a bit less.
I booked a KwikFit mobile service when I needed all new four corners. It was not expensive to have them rock up and and the inside of the van has a full tyre machine and balancer. Even had full airbags to throw under the car to lift it. Quite quick and impressive.
