I think I know the answer to this, but anyway...
Is there anything you can do to prevent this design from splitting when out doors.
We picked up an ex-demo garden sofa and chairs set for cheap, and it's made from Acacia, but using this cheapo method.
As the suns out I've given it a top up with furniture oil over whatever shit finish was on it, and am comfortable with it fading and splitting a bit, but want to protect it as best I can.
