I'd also say while they're great for walking, ultimately they're designed for serious hiking, so may be OTT.
Eg there is clearly a weight penalty. And while they weren't cheap BITD, they're pretty fucking pricey. Then again compared to many of the more fashiony shoes in this thread they are quality.
