It'll be wider for a mtb derailleur?
I have got a pretty short bb in the bike so this really might be a problem.
Also the Advent derailleur and other mtb derailleurs I'm finding are looking like they're all 34.9mm clamp and I have a puny 28.6mm seattube.
Might try and pick up a cheapo used mtb derailleur but 1x is looking like an easier option tbh.
It could be shimmed. I think most retrogrouch frames are still 68mm BB, so maybe chain line is ok, not sure how much difference the rear spacing makes tbh
