I got a cheap wheel is a tenner ok just the wheel no cassette ,quick release or tyre. Kingston based or Battersea day time.

Hi Billygoat, that's exactly what I'm after, but sadly I'm realistically not able to get to Kingston I'm afraid - I'm in rehearsals every weekend and wouldn't get to Battersea past 7pm weekdays.

After a cheap rear wheel to tide me over while my main commuter wheel is rebuilt.
Ideally Pickup somewhere from Dalston heading south to Brixton weekday evenings.
As the title - rim brake 700c, Shimano freehub (8-10speed is fine).
Needs to be reasonably cheap, Just functional with at least some life left in the brake track.
What you got ?
