  • I just read someone say unironically

    “Rewilding is a natural disaster”

  • Is it a conspiracy theory nutter type thing that people are against rewilding?

Local wildlife trust have just bought what was previously a farm in the village I live in. Tiny village, around 300 houses, including at least 5 other farms. Wildlife trust says they're going to rewild it. So many people are in uproar in the local Facebook group saying that it's disgraceful and should be kept a farm because food security and wouldn't it be nice to buy some locally reared beef now and then.

Guess what, Janet? All the farmers are growing wild flowers this year because it's the most profitable thing to do right now. And you couldn't afford organic, locally reared beef for your Sunday roast. That's exactly why the farm was for sale and they couldn't find anyone else to buy it!

  • Pesticide companies are against rewilding, so they pay off MPs and encourage willing local idiots to fight against it. Local idiots are easily targeted via facebook anti-vax anti LTN groups

Britain has been dependent on food imports since the Romans

  • It’s change.

    Fucking beavers. Yada. Yada.
