One day! That's fairly low hanging fruit though I guess.

Oh, is the goal square the bigger one? Is that a new feature in statshunters? I did use it for a bit but perferred Squadrats look and feel.

Yeah the goal square is the bigger one, I think it's been around for maybe a year or so. I haven't used it much as I've been freestyling it but i think it'll come into it's own as i'm trying to ride to a specific size square.

Why are you trying to ride to a specific sized square? I have done feck all bagging of late, trying to get back some fitness with turbo training, but when I plan routes I normally just aim for tiles in an area I've already nicked a route for :)

Haha I just bagged some tiles from a previous ride I'd not uploaded. I thought I'd caught all of them but I guess not.

No reason really, it just kind of started forming a natural square up to the coast and to London so I thought I'd try to make it fit. Need to get onto the NW and SE extremities though.

Will crack the 400k on the little ones this weekend.

And how did it go so far? ;-)

We bailed at Bardney. Or as it shall now be known "bad knee".
But cracked the 400k mark

Found another missed upload, Faccombe Willy 200k (Paul Stewart) so there's 268k and 10 tiles I'd missed from 2017.

Looks like half of 2017 is missing including bits of TransAm, some Cambrian perms. All the free tiles from when I used to be gooder.

Most long-time VeloViewer Explorer Tile tickers will at some point come across this scenario where their recording cuts across the edge of a tile but VeloViewer isn’t showing that tile as ticked (…)
Is now much improved, by moving to 6 decimal places for lat/lon coordinates and looking at intersections with missing tiles less than 5 seconds or 100 meters apart, apparently: https://blog.veloviewer.com/update-to-detailed-veloviewer-explorer-tile-ticking/

Thanks for the nudge.
I've just updated a ride in Strava with a tile that hadn't registered by adjusting the parameters. Very satisfying.
Slow start to the year at work as well as a couple of jobs in handy places means that I've managed to increase my current max square to 49 x 49.

Turned around too early so missed extending square by 5. 4 will do. Could probably get another 1 or 2 if I head NW tomorrow.

Squadrats not highlighting squares in RWGPS since yesterday?
It works in Chrome, just not Firefox.
EDIT: Reported it to dev 50mins ago and he fixed 12mins ago :D

El Piri bumped Mr France from the top 20 count. Sorry, not sorry :)
I can't believe I'd basically need to double my tiles to take 1st place. Dude must've had a GPS from birth.

I really need to try move mine on again. Kinda feels like I’ve platued somewhat
-
• #944
I've found it's a lot easier to collect these things if you don't spend every weekend riding up and down the same stretches of A-road :D
-
• #945
What’s your big yikes big square at?
-
• #946
38x38, which still isn't big when you consider my mileage but I was doing mostly indoor riding for the last few months.
-
• #947
I just started looking at this, kind of wish I hadn't :p
13x13 but planned some rides!!

Statshunters has let me know about 3 new badges I've just earned. Cluster 4000, 10k tiles and max square 50x50.
I'd really like to tick off the yellow bits by the end of the year, which should be relatively easily achievable.

50x50... wow

Dropped out of teh top 20 again. Stupid body.
It's on statshunters.com, choose the gear icon top right and select square planner. Someone recommended it on this thread a while back. It's a really useful tool and you can also get pretty involved with changing colours etc.
