I'm a bit put off by CAADs. Yes I have a certain love for them and wouldn't rule them out completely, but have seen far too many of them dented at the top-tube owing to (I assume) the super-light hydroformed alu they're using. This is mostly on 12s and older.

The kind of wack it takes to dent a caad would snap a supersix tube. Just saying

Nah, my caad12 had dents on the top tube from the handlebars. Never dropped or crashed, only from the (wrapped) bars swinging whilst in the stand. They're super thin

There’s a thread of weight weenies I think where someone says a falling pine cone dented their top tube
