  • And stable?

Suicide is always complex, and what goes through a person’s mind is of course unknowable, but in this specific case the police/FBI should definitely be getting involved to clarify the exact circumstances of death.

  • that bridge looked vertically stiff but laterally compliant ( hope i got the old lfgss phrase right )

  • That account is a large industrial bag of batshit crazy.

https://twiiit.com/boomer1350 (twiiit.com is a site that attempts to redirect you to a nitter instance. It may take a few reload attempts before you get one that isn't rate limited. And you may need to go back to the twiiit.com address rather than attempting to reload whichever instance it has sent you to.)

  • Laurence Fox called Billie a cokehead then deleted:

  • He was at a 'rally for British Values' on Saturday, speaking to a rapt crowd of less than 100. The consensus among the press photographers seemed to be that he was a keen snorter himself.

  • Is a British value knowing that extol and berate are antonyms not synonyms?

  • Thick as mince

  • Possibly because he doesn't know what "extolling" means...

  • Exhorting.

  • Exhausting.

  • Ex-PM.

  • The British values included boycotting Nike; can you guess the brand of footwear he was wearing?

This has been a rule for years now. It's like turning up at the airport with your National Insurance card.

  • In the TV version of that report the reporter who wrote the story Marc Ashdown admits he was caught by it a couple of months ago which to me makes the whole story just an attempt to prove to his wife he isn't a fuckwit because "look at all the other people".

  • "we can't all be idiots"

  • I don't really need to guess about his trainers because I was there - he acknowledged he was wearing Nike and said he was going to burn them when he got home. Which he won't.
I almost felt sorry for the idiot. He was the star speaker at a rally that had one photographer for every two protestors. The Turning Point UK presence was half a dozen teenagers singing England Till I Die. The Reform candidate for London Mayor saw sense and claimed a medical emergency and left. When I left the PA was playing Vera Lynn.

  • ^ this is beautiful

  • That reminds me, i need to renew my passport. thanks

  • If Alan Partridge was the director of communications for a political party...

  • Investigators have found the data recorder from the ship which hit the bridge in Baltimore.
Would that have been much of a challenge?

  • You can see usually see them from the shore. They're dayglo orange and mounted on deck somewhere conspicuous
