What was it like? Compared to on 21mm rim?

A bit strange. The tire felt like it ended up with quite a flat profile so cornering felt less predictable. It did look very aero though.

I also have some 40mm tires mounted on a 21mm internal rim. It works fine, but the tire is quite ballooned.
