Any tips for getting the most out of the Blenheim Forge sharpening class?
Saw it recommended on this thread and I'm going on Saturday. I'm new to sharpening having watched a few videos and have had a go at sharpening the basic knives we have.

Not especially. One thing I found was that it wasn't until after I'd done the class and I was watching knife sharpening videos that I had a 'Oh! that's what he was talking about' light bulb moment. But that could be to do with the tutor's delivery, the student's ability to absorb information, or a combination of the two.

Depending on where you are located Blenheim Forge in Peckham do a knife sharpening class. £50.00 for two hours with six of you in the class. I've always considered myself adept at sharpening knives, but having attended the class my knives are at a totally new level of sharpness.
