I did all that and also band aid modded my PCB back when I put my board together. Lot of work but worth it (IMO)

Haha... I can't even be bothered watching the video, let alone doing the work! Hard pass.
Top Tip: If you play your music loud enough, it doesn't matter what your keyboard sounds like. Same rule I use for bikes...
