  • The Boeing story is gathering pace and getting interesting

    • two weeks ago corporate whistleblower kills himself in a car in a hotel basement garage in the middle of giving a depositions relating to a court case suing Boeing over safety lapses
    • two days ago FBI inform passengers on the plane that had the door plug blow out they may have been victims of a crime
-today the Chair, CEO and head of commercial airline activity all announce they are leaving

  • That's sad that the whistleblower killed themselves....part caused by huge stress from doing the right thing?

  • I try to avoid conspiracy theories, but the first thing I thought when I read that was did the whistleblower really kill himself?

  • I think this is often missed when people jump to suspicious suicide conspiracies. I know a couple of people who while I wouldn't describe as true "whistle blowers" have pushed back and escalated controversial issues in large organisations. Both left not long after and their lives were made very difficult.

I can only imagine how unbelievably tough it would be if you were doing it at this level.
