It was meant to be a shit box that I didn't mind locking up around town but it ended up with some inappropriately nice bits (stupid converted DA cranks, ti post, hand made M_V stem) and I like it so much that I'd hate for it to get nicked. Needless to say, I'm working on a new, shitter bike to fill that role
We all know that this doesn't happen, and we just repeat the first bit of the cycle...

So far, the plan for the newer shit box will cost me £20 (a set of tyres). Most of the parts, including the frame, are going to be pinched from the scrap pile at work. Stem, forks, bars and saddle will come from the parts bin. I'm going to try really hard not to get carried away and make it too swish!

It's got 700x38c in there. Could go miles bigger at the front with the Brother (I think) gravel fork. Might be able to squeeze a 40c in without the guards at the back.
