BDHU advice please. Looking to get this wrapped and lever bands are positioned at the maximum extent of the grip area on the bars. Bars are a little wider than I’d like anyway, is it time for new bars? -17° stem also required

Judging by brick line, I'd say bars down a tad, hoods up a tad

Which bars are these? It does look like the bottom part of the bars are parallel to the ground and therefore more or less mounted correctly. But the top of the bars look too flat.
No harm in rotating them down 1-2° and the move the levers up a bit as well. I would not worry about the clamp area as long as the levers can be tightened safely.Build is absolutely spot on tho!

Those bars look perfect! Finally flat tops and horizontal drops

Thanks!
Might ask Thomson if it’s safe to clamp outside of the grip zone as I’d like to go a tiny bit higher. There’s a textured area of the carbon and these are at the max, unsure if it’s safe to clamp above this

Thomson carbon cross bars
Build is (mostly) US themed, will post some more pictures in current projects once I’ve sorted tape and new wheels

Thought they were the same bars as mine! You don't see them often.

Don’t think I’ve seen another pair in the wild. Have had these sitting in a box since Dec 2021 waiting for me to get this frame repaired/build sorted
