Cheers. The garden is south facing so that back fence is in shade for most of the day which I think limits the quick growth necessary to really block the fence from sight in the short term.
Part of the trouble is the top of the corrugated iron, which is obviously the ugliest bit, is pretty high at about 2.5m so stuff like sweet pea doesn't cover it (although may still give that a try for this year).
