Yes. The rider's son has named him in the Facebook group. It wasn't anyone I knew.
I've not heard yet who the other guy is, just hope he recovers.Two fatalities now, and the number of people who have ridden it is tiny compared to TCR or even TABR. At a guess about 3-400 over all the years, so of the order of 10% of the number who've done TCR. I know the numbers are (thankfully) too small to be statistically valid but would TCR be running if 20 people had been killed doing it?

Doug sent me screenshots from FB talking about it. Sad news. I hope the other rider can recover but it sounds quite serious. Twice in the same day?!
