Someone in my office was chatting about gradually introducing light cosmetic surgery early so it's less noticeable. I'd always assumed they were a mum in their late 30s. I recently found out they're <30. They could easily pass for one of the plastic RR mums at my eldest's school.

Yeah defo. At the risk of being middle aged men discussing young women’s appearance, getting cosmetic surgery at a young age can actually make folks look older, lips are the worst offender. The younger generations are doomed.

Yeah, I mean obviously people can make themselves look however they want, and women don't have to conform to male standards of beauty.

And I recognise I'm a product of a generation where once you reached ~25 you stopped trying to make yourself look older. And even <25yo you were aiming for looking 21-25, rather than >35. So that heavily influences my perception.

The mid-90s millennials seem to be a generation that look older than they really are. Men and women.
