That’s a hanger, like all our larger balls the rotator is internal so it can be lowered in/out of sight on stage etc.
Our pedestal ones go up to 1m diameter but beyond that they get a big top-heavy/unwieldy.
With the construction method used we could absolutely turn that into a pedestal fit one if we wanted. The problem there becomes installation and setup.
Anyone can make a sculpture for permanent install but we make functional pieces that can be thrown onto a stage truck and be reliable every night on tour for weeks/months at a time.
