Yeah, this is unavoidable when getting pebbledash removed. The cement render takes chunks of brick off with it, causing it all to look rough as dogs’ arses as per my previous snap. It’s then ground back a bit until even, then tinted, and finally pointed.
There’s no way around grinding the bricks back, unless you fully replace all the facing bricks. The original fired face gets ripped off with the render anyway…
