Does anyone know who half the people on that list are?

I thought the Duke of Edinburgh and the Earl of Wessex were one and the same person for a start.

The Earl of Wessex is the eldest son of the Duke of Edinburgh.

The current Dook of Ed is Prince Edward. He was Earl of Wessex until Philip, the previous dook of ed died. Then Edward was given Phil's title, and Edward's son was given the Wessex title.
