I think there was ambiguity to if you plan to paint the slats?
i.e. I'd want a really good reason to do so + a lot of extra space. - loft white - is their closest to white but you'll have so much leftover id stick the bed on a secondary list and choose the colour for something else. LG have paint that 'break rules' emulsion that's fine for wood (given knotting and primed)

Cheers. That seems easy enough (although not cheap). Now to find a colour and get a mini roller.
