I think there was ambiguity to if you plan to paint the slats?
i.e. I'd want a really good reason to do so + a lot of extra space. - loft white - is their closest to white but you'll have so much leftover id stick the bed on a secondary list and choose the colour for something else. LG have paint that 'break rules' emulsion that's fine for wood (given knotting and primed)

Little Greene, tinted primer and eggshell usually works for me. Definitely use a small roller to get a good finish.
Will look rubbish until the 2nd/3rd coat.
