I was tempted a few weeks back, similarly thought it was worth a punt at less than £30. Think they really struggle to get up to a decent enough temperature (mostly under 90 degrees) which won't be great (especially for lighter roasts).
They do look very cool it must be said
I read there're little ways to help improve the brew and it is wiryh experimenting with the process just like other brew methods.
I might see if I can get it PAT tested then take it into work...
