Wondering if I can pull the SSD from my Intel and smoosh it in a 256gb storage M2.
All M-series MacBooks have the SSD chips soldered to the motherboard, so that's not happening.
(Your Intel Mac likely does too unless it's pre-Touchbar)
You can get special drives that sit flush in the SD card slot if you just want some extra storage.
I just sandisk SSD’s for working off, I also feel you need min 500gb as programs can’t start to take everything up
