Should I order 2?
You only need one as long as the leads to the light controllers will reach from the extension to the light position, and you could run up to four of those lights from it as long as it's fully unwound from the reel.

a fairly narrow voltage range below which they won’t light and above which they won’t light ever again
All diodes are light emitting given sufficient power input, although only very briefly😀

Anyone lost this?
Looks like a Fuji of some sort

Yeah coming to this conclusion too.
Just need something to throw at my eldest after training while on the bike home.
May just have to try whey protein drinks again. -

Needs a wipe?

Basically what Tester linked, although appreciate it's all quite cryptic.

Thanks. Will genuinely be game to read. Bookmarked for now.

Great, thank you. And I presume having them unwound is to do with overheating but shouldn't be an issue for 2? I can unwind and keep loosely coiled by the stand. Just curious if there's a particular threshold to remember.

Technically, with two lights you're over the limit for having the extension still on the reel. You could do a bunch of complex maths involving Ohmic heating, ambient temperature and expected airflow rates to determine how much you have to unwind to stay within the operating temperature window of the insulation, or you could just unwind the whole cable and lay it in loose coils on the floor🙂

Why does it need to be full fat milk?
Anyway, I think For Goodness Shakes meet some, if not all, of your criteria. 5% sugar.

Wilco, thanks for all the pointers.

Who still makes nice cantilever straddle cable hangers? Chill pills make good money for faded scratched ones on the bay. Someone must make cool ano ones, surely?

I want to install one of these in my shed, floor and walls are similar two by construction. This is to secure my scooter, which surface would be better?
And which hardware should I use as what came with it is meant for concrete.

Can I use an 11 speed chain on a 9 speed set up? (SRAM cassette, Shimano rings it that makes any difference). As I understand it from a quick look, they're the same internally but different externally.
-
• #121168
I tend to use my half worn 11s on lower speed bikes and so far so good.

Good call! I hadn’t thought about bmx stuff and I do like Flybikes. I was leaning toward the Paul Moon units, but thought it a bit too matchy matchy.

Dango Bros by magic components - not cheap though :-/

Good to know, thanks! Although now I've thought about it for more than 10 seconds, the 11s chain in my spares box will definitely get used at some point in the next few months. I might as well buy a 9s that will definitely work now and save the 11s for when I inevitably need it later on, rather than chucking it on and hoping for the best.

That is the ideal, but you need 3 sets (£135!!!) to do it properly ;)

Somebody else does the round ones with different machining, but I can’t for the life of me remember who it is. -

Sim Works? Might have imagined it, can't see them online
-
• #121174
135 is just crazy 🫠
Edit looks like you get away with just a pair? 1 in front 1 rear.
Oh wait I get the joke.. 😅

Has anyone here shopping with either of these?
https://imfixies.com/
https://Santafixie.co.uk
With their free shipping and taxes paid they seem ok on price.
The "Basic Optoelectronics" section of these university lecture notes from Kiel in English is interesting and not excessively technical if you want some ideas about what's happening to make light come out of semiconductors.
