  • Single serve full fat milkshakes - what are my options ? Annoyingly they tend to be 2% or skimmed.

As a recovery drink post exercise for someone who doesn’t like recovery shakes.

    Ta.

  • Frij? Hard to go wrong with plain old milk or chocolate milk tbh, full fat or not. All the hydration you need along with carbohydrate, vitamins and protein.

  • Frij?

11g sugar per 100ml, mostly skimmed milk. Not good.

I've read the nutrition labels on any number of packaged shakes, and they're all as bad as one another. I have a feeling it's just not viable to package a full fat shake with no added sugar, partly for chemistry reasons and I suspect mostly because the market has been conned into favouring high sugar/low fat drinks and would resist anything else. If you want something nice and healthy, you're stuck with flavouring fresh whole milk at home.
